1. Design ideas

Design ideas are always what makes designers “crazy” to make their work beautiful-unique-strange. However, the backdrop has a specific use (stage), so it is necessary to have a certain number of “forms” to ensure information and aesthetics for the event. The designer sometimes mired in creative or alternative, will not match the requirements of the organization, it is very exhausting. So my advice is that you should  refer to some pre- designed backdrop templates and then “apply” your ideas according to that concept, it will be safer.

2. Text on Backdrop

Before embarking on the design, you should list the necessary information on the publication (name of the program, organization unit, sponsor, time, slogan, etc.) to avoid omissions. The layout sets the text accordingly. 

Text size :

Backdrop is used on stage or for check-in photography, so the font size must be reasonable so that the audience can grasp and effectively communicate images. To do this, you also need to decentralize information.

– The program name will usually have the largest clear size, placed in the center, if using typography , it is not too distracting to make it easier to see.

– Less important information such as: time, location, slogan, .. are smaller in size, and in a non-central position (placed in the lower corner).

– Logos of sponsors and organizers are placed in the upper corner.

Font text :

as mentioned above, the program name should use large, clear fonts (usually sans-serif ) to ensure information transmission, in addition, depending on the program’s properties, there will be appropriate adjustments. . Other information fields should use thin, easy-to-read fonts. Remember the rule is to only use a maximum of 3 fonts in the same publication!

Text color :

avoid using colors that make the text sink into the background. Do not think that machines are attractive red, so make sure to leave the text in red. This is a mistake many design beginners make, and it just creates a sense of frustration for the eyes. If it’s safe, just use the rule of contrast is the surest: dark background – light text , and vice versa.

3. Synchronicity

4. Dimensions
